Popular entertainment journalist, Ibrahim Koroma also known as Prezo Koroma has said that they were not released on a pardon, but did serve their jail term.

Prezo Koroma made this statement whilst recounting on his journey at Pedemba Road prison after he said he was told by some close friends not to say anything about what happened to them

Prezzo Koroma in his statement also disclosed how popular jailed politician Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray and Former Skye Bank Manager Bola Nicole were the ones that were consoling him during his time at the Pademba road prison

The statement read in part;

I am been told by some close friends that I should not say anything about what happened to us. The media failed to unearth and report the truth. Most media houses have sold their birthright for coco yeah. Human Right organization couldn’t stand up for us even though our human rights were abused. Civil Society organizations are no longer seeking the interest of us the citizens. I have the right to explain my story so therefore no one will tell me otherwise….

Twenty-five leones were paid for legal representation. More than twenty million was spent during the trial and my welfare while in prison for the past eight months.

I have gone through a financial loss for a baseless accusation of throwing a mega-cola rubber at police officers which the prosecutor failed to prove. With all that I have been through I should just act like everything is ok. I need to spill it out for me to move forward. The fear of Pademba road is no more as I have been there.

Let it be known to everyone that we served our jail term and were not released on pardon.”
