The Inspector-General of Sierra Leone Police, IG Sovula declared popular Hip Hop Rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah known as LAJ wanted during police weekly Press Briefing held today at the Police Headquarters in Freetown.

LAJ has been declared wanted by the police for public insult & misconduct which is a criminal charge under the 1965 public order act.

Meanwhile, a sum of Five Million Leones (Le5,000,000) is placed for any information leading to his arrest.

It could be recalled that on Sunday 12th December 2021, Boss La abused popular journalist and station manager for radio Democracy 98.1FM on his Facebook live. According to the rapper, journalists on the radio station reported the bench warrant that was ordered by the Court of Sierra Leone concerning him while they did not look on his own side of the story.

The rapper added that, the journalists on that particular radio stations want to tarnish his image. Because of this, he went ahead and used abusive languages against the station manager, Mrs. Asmaa James.

Different institutions, individuals, ect. condemned the act of Boss La. In less than 24 hours, he apologized and asked for forgiveness from Mrs. Asmaa James, family, Women of Sierra Leone and others. The rapper went ahead and did a video, apologized to the nation.

Sierra Leone Police has declared the rapper wanted and a reward has been placed for anyone that finds him.
