Sus Beats: The Young Sierra Leonean Using Audio-Visuals Skills to Change The Entertainment Industry
Hassan Lamin a.k.a Sus Beats, a self-taught Sierra Leonean Graphic Designer, Photographer, Sound Engineer and Video Editor hailed from Kenema in the East part of Freetown has taken over social media for his tremendous work in both the Entertainment and Sport Sector.
Sus Beats used his initiative to help Sierra Leoneans both home and abroad to watch the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League. It has been difficult for football fans all over the world to watch the Premier League. Since people are more engaged on Facebook, Sus Beats thought it fit that it is time for him to use his devices and Facebook page to Stream live the ongoing Premier League.
As a Graphic Designer, he has designed Artwork for top musicians like YOK 7, Markmuday, Dannee J, Kracktwist & Samza, Emmerson, Cool J, Salone JQ, Shuaibu, Kaley Bag, Abizzy, Souferior, Manzu, K-Man, Nasser Ayoub, Diamond Prince, Morris, Menace, Blesz, RJ, Queen Nak, Sir Wahid, Rahim, etc. He has also designed logos for popular brands like Minami, Grind Mind Inc, Lion Mountain, Kabala Cowmilk, Born to Blog, Divine Favor, Salone Borbor Music, DJ Kallox, T&C Promo, ASLA, MEAC, etc. He was the designer of Emmerson latest album cover; 9Lives.

On a telephone chat with Sierraloaded, the young entrepreneur described himself as a problem solver. He said he noticed that people have been struggling to watch Premier League due to distance and tight schedule. With his phone and camera, he got from Don Dada for his good work, he realized that, it’s time for him to step in and use the devices to bring the games closer to the people. Such idea gave him the inspiration to start a Live Stream.
He has won multiple awards. In 2020, he was awarded as the Best Music Producer at the Kenema Music Awards and nominated as Best Graphic Designer at the New Skool Awards.
