Vida Appeals For Clemency For Boss La
Aaron Parker Renowned Sierra Leonean female musician Davida Greene, popularly known as Vida has recently appealed to the country’s government to consider clemency for popular rapper Boss La, who is currently serving a 9 years imprisonment.
Vida emphasized the importance of forgiveness, love, compassion, and second chances in our daily lives, regardless of religious tradition.
She quoted Boss La, who expressed deep remorse and a desire to become a better person, artist, and father to his children.
“This past couple of months of incarceration has taught a lesson I haven’t learnt in all my years of existence. It’s has taught me to be a better person, a better artiste and above all a better father to my children. Whom I miss so dearly.
All I’m asking for is a second chance to be a better person. A second chance to make amends and a second chance to prove to my family, friends, fans, supporters and my country that I’ll be a better person”.
Vida requested the government, specifically H.E. Dr. Julius Maada Bio and Her Excellency Fatima Maada Bio, to give Boss La a second chance to make amends and contribute positively to Sierra Leone once again.
She believes that he deserves mercy and a chance to prove himself as a better person, artist, and father.
In closing, Vida wished a happy independence day to the people of Sierra Leone.
