Meet our Crush for this week, Mahota Jenneh Jah

Mahota Jenneh Jah is a Lieutenant, and a communications officer attached at the Media Operations Headquarter Joint Force Command, Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces.

Worth of mention is a woman who has rejected all to accept the call of the country to protect its people ad system, while using the power of words to encourage and call to action the citizen of the country. Her love of country and will to protect makes her the golden girl of the force!

Jah hailed from an humble home, however, she did not allow his background to defy her determination; starting her early years with The Annie Walsh Senior Secondary School in Freetown. She was well-known for her oratory dexterities and penmanship prowess, which make her one of the finest at the Mass Communication department during her stay at Fourah Bay College

She came out Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone as a golden girl having bagged a Honors Degree (First Class) in Mass Communication (Public Relations and Advertising).

With her qualification and intellect, Jah is exposed to many job opportunities after graduation in the Corporate World; out of her love of country and an oath to protect and defend our constitution and people of Sierra Leone, she declined them and chose to serve with the country’s force.

In 2022, as part of the Media Wing of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), Jah worked in collaboration with the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists towards removing obstacles that suppress press freedom and the beating of journalists in the country.

Some of Jah’s Immediate responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitor and documents news development about RSLAF, advice on communications related matter, develop Press Releases and other Security Communication Contents.

Her service and sacrifice to see the greatness of the country can’t be undermined.
