The Management of the Kenema Government Hospital has officially opened two units as part of the satisfactory service delivery to the people in the district and beyond.

The two units are the stroke unit and a High Dependency Unit at the Kenema Government Hospital that will be very proactive in handling related health issues in the district as part of the initiative to support quality healthcare delivery and a testament to their total commitment in transforming health care within the region.

The Management further expressed thanks and appreciation to Kings College Global Health Partnerships for supporting the Hospital in achieving this goal and further thanks Dr. Kabba (DCMO) for guiding the process and for honouring the invitation.

They also pledged their unflinching commitment to the development, modernization and expansion of healthcare services that would always be for the best interest of the people as well as assuring that, the units would be used for their actual purposes and always monitored to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

The Medical Superintendent Dr Abdulai Tejan Jalloh, also thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MoH) for their constant support in keeping the hospital up and running.
