Sierra Leone Doctors have undertaken the first-ever Cornea Transplant operation in the country at the Connaught Hospital.
The surgery was conducted by Doctor Jalikatu Mustapha and other Ophthalmologists under the guidance of a Cornea Specialist from Duke University.
