Fatal Accident at Freetown-Bo Highway, Two Confirmed Dead
A fatal accident at Moyamba Junction has left two dead and two seriously wounded.
A private vehicle heading from Bo to Freetown with number plate AVO 465 got a Road Clash on Monday 26th February, 2024 at around 3:30pm in Bonubu, Kori Chiefdom Moyamba District.
The deceased and the wounded were taken to the Moyamba Junction Community Health Centre for medical attention.
Five passengers including the driver were in the vehicle while the driver is now on the run. The cause of the accident according to eyewitnesses was as a result of over speeding.
The situation is currently under control as the Sierra Leone Police attached to the Moyamba Junction Police station took a prompt move to cover the scene. Bonubu is between Moyamba Junction and Taiama in the Kori Chiefdom Moyamba District.
