Dr. Abdul B. Kamara, Director General of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Country Office in Nigeria, has presented copies of his book, “The Unknown Destination”, to Sierra Leone’s Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security, Mohamed Rahman Swarray, and Ambassador Ernest Ndomahina, Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action.
The handover, held at the AfDB headquarters in Abuja, highlighted the importance of intellectual engagement and regional collaboration.
Dr. Kamara, a renowned Sierra Leonean economist, explores Africa’s higher education challenges in his book, offering insights on equity, reform, and preparing the continent for the global knowledge economy.
Minister Swarray and Commissioner Ndomahina lauded Dr. Kamara for his academic contributions and leadership within the AfDB, noting that his work serves as an inspiration for Sierra Leone and Africa as a whole.
