Residents of the Susan’s Bay Community in Freetown are in utter disaray due to a wild fire outburst that has consumed a whole neighborhood causing panic and fear for their lives and properties.

The said incident is happening right now, today the 9th January, 2023.

The Susan’s Bay is a densely populated Community that stands at the Central part of Sierra Leone’s Capital.

A video taken by an eye witness shows terror as the blazing fire takes over the community. Residents are busy fighting to move some of their properties away from the fire as there seems to be not much hope to extinguish it any time soon.

No police officers and fire fighters are seen around, however no deaths have been reported so far.
