APC Launches Nationwide 2026 Census Sensitization Campaign in Freetown
Sahid Bangura The All Peoples Congress (APC) has launched its 2026 Census Sensitization Tour in the East Urban District, Freetown, as part of efforts to raise awareness among party members and supporters about the importance of the national census.
The campaign officially commenced on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Changes Complex, with the Head of the APC 2026 Census Sensitisation Committee, Leonard Balogun Koroma, leading the launch alongside members of his team and former Ambassador to the United States, Bockarie Stevens.
The event brought together newly elected constituency officials and members of the East Urban District Executive, led by its newly elected Chairman, Desmond Korombo Kargbo.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that APC members and supporters understand the census process and the importance of public awareness in encouraging participation. The party plans to extend the sensitisation campaign to other parts of the country as it seeks to reach members and supporters nationwide.
The tour forms part of the APC’s efforts to promote awareness of the 2026 Census and encourage its members and supporters to participate in the process.
