Controversial SLPP Supporter, Arata Buried Amidst Tears
Deborah Sorie Alouysh Deen Tarawally popularly known as ‘Arata’ has been buried today, Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The controversial SLPP supporter passed away earlier in August, succumbing to injuries after a mob attacked him on accusations of stealing a tricycle “Kekeh” in Freetown.
Until his death, Arata was a fervent supporter of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and was notorious for his aggressive behavior towards prominent members of opposition parties.
On several occasions, he has been arrested and charged to court for various offenses including theft, robbery, carrying offensive weapons, disorderly behaviour and throwing missiles, contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone. In all instances, he managed to escape legal justice until the final events which led to his death.
He was brutally murdered in a mob justice shortly before the police intervened.

Lesson for youth who thing fighting for politicians is is a better choice. That is quite unfortunate and colleagues should learn from this….
