Several women were arrested today after coming out to peacefully protest against the economic hardship in the country.
A video shared on social media showing one of the arrested female protesters arguing bitterly with police officers while in their custody.
The woman said they have been arrested for portraying their rights, noting that hunger is killing them. She went further to ask the police to kill her.
In response, the police said that they will not kill her but they will make sure that she rots in jail.
