The District Education Office in Karene District has issued a stern reminder to all heads of schools regarding the final registration deadlines for the 2025 National Primary School Examination (NPSE), Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to the notice, the registration deadline for WASSCE is February 15, 2025, while NPSE and BECE candidates have until February 27, 2025, to complete their registration with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The communication emphasized that these deadlines had been previously announced and urged school authorities to ensure timely compliance.
“There is no need to delay in completing the registration exercise, neither waiting close for the deadline to elapse. The earlier, the better,” the statement warned.
The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), WAEC, and parents are closely monitoring the process to ensure all eligible candidates are duly informed and registered for their respective examinations.
The Deputy Director of Education, Foday Konteh, who signed the notice, issued a final warning to school heads, stressing the importance of adhering to the deadlines.
Authorities are urging schools to avoid last-minute rushes and ensure a smooth registration process to prevent any disruption in students’ examination participation.
