The Autopsy or post mortem which was carried out on the carcass of a former employee of Skyee Bank, Sinnah Kai Kargbo, has revealed that the latter’s had died of manual strangulation of the cervical vertebrae.

The post mortem which was carried out on the deceased on the 20th October, 2022 at the Connaught hospital by the Government Consultant Pathologist, Dr Simcon Owizz Koroma, attracted bankers, lawyers, the media and relatives of both the deceased, Sinnah Kai Kargbo and the accused, Ikubolaje Nicole, were all present when the postmortem was done.

According to the autopsy result, the iron bone which resembled a butterfly in the structure of the human body had fractured.

When opened the esophagus of the deceased, the pathologist observed a persistent bleeding in the thyroid cartilage.

Dr Owizz explained that the deceased bite her tongue during the time she was struggling with pain, adding that the deceased sustained injuries on her head due to the fierce battle she fought before she was finally strangulated.

“Sinnah Kargbo whose hairs was rough and poorly plaited raised her left hand to defend herself but unfortunately she was overcomed and met her sudden or untimely demise” Dr Koroma explained and emphasized on the acute pain the deceased went through for a very long time before she gave up the ghost.

It could be recalled that the General Manager for Skyee Bank, Ikubolaje Nicole was apprehended and detained at the criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters over allegation of murdering his former employee, Sinnah Kai Kargbo who was also his girlfriend
