Skye Bank Manager Trial: Defence Tables a No Case Submission
Mohamed Foday Conteh The defense lawyer representing Ikubolaje Nicole, former Skye Bank Manager will continue his no-case submission on Friday at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court after the State closed its case on Thursday.
Lawyer Roland Wright, in his argument on Thursday, hinged on the report provided by Pathologist, Dr. Simeon Owizz Koroma for the deceased, Sinnah Kai Kargbo.
Lawyer Wright said that he believed that the report was doctored by the pathologist and claimed that that was the reason he was not brought to the court to testify.
The senior lawyer added that the deceased was also not dead when they left the house of the accused. He added that she was only pronounced dead at the hospital citing the nurse’s decision to prepare the ICU unit.
The defense lawyer sympathized with the family of the young lady while arguing that his client was innocent.
