Alfred Koroma, an employee of the Group 4 Security Company, and Musa Amara, a professional Manson, have on Wednesday, 15th February, 2023 made another appearance before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Ross Road Court No. 3 in Freetown.

Their offences according to the testimony delivered by the Prosecutor, are conspiracy to commit murder contrary to Section 4 of the Offences Against the Persons Act of 1816, and for Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.

According to the material evidence mentioned in the charge sheet, it stated that the accused persons on Monday 16th January, 2023, at SLPMB Compound in Wallington, Freetown, conspired to commit felony and larceny, and thus added that the accused stole four aluminum tanks priced for sixty-four million Leones (NLe64,000).

The charge sheet further stated that two trailer base plate valued at thirty-eight million Leones (NLe38,000), one volvo exhaust pipe valued at seven million Leones (NLe7,000), all of which accumulated to a total of one hundred and nine million Leones (NLe109,000) was confiscated by the accused persons.

The properties, according to the testifier are properties belonging to one former Assistant Inspector General of Sierra Leone Police, AIG Teddy M. Williams.

After hearing the charges brought before the Court against the accused persons, they all pleaded not guilty, and the Prosecutor, D.S.P. Fatmata Kuyateh, sought for an adjournment since the witnesses were not present.

The accused were unrepresented in Court and, therefore, no bail of application was granted on their behalf, hence, the matter had been adjourned to 24 February 2023 for hearing.
