Detective Superintendent of Police, Mustapha Gogra, spearheaded an initiative aimed at bolstering unity and collaboration among investigators within the Southern region.

In a recent meeting held on 6th, January 2023, Gogra emphasized the significance of fostering a familial bond among investigators, stressing the pivotal role it plays in combating crime effectively.

The primary focus of the meeting was to instill a sense of unity, establishing an environment where investigators feel interconnected and valued. Gogra underscored the importance of this unified front, aiming to create a shared purpose and commitment among the investigative teams.

In an effort to solidify teamwork and cooperation, Superintendent Gogra urged investigators to perceive each other as integral members of a family unit. This approach is expected to significantly enhance the capacity for solving crimes within the region.

To further strengthen camaraderie, Gogra pledged to organize a football match between the Bo East and West Divisions, promoting not only teamwork but also a sense of healthy competition. Additionally, plans are underway to optimize communication channels, ensuring seamless and efficient information flow among the investigative units.

Support for Gogra’s initiative came from the Regional Police Commander South, Assistant Inspector General of Police Brima Kanneh, who deemed the meeting as crucial and well-timed. Kanneh, echoing the sentiments of fostering teamwork, shared personal experiences motivating lower-ranking police officers to remain passionate and committed to their duties.
