The Old Prince Waleans Association has officially confirmed Alhaji Dauda Musa Bangura as Vice President 1, elected unopposed through the association’s electoral process. This unanimous endorsement is far more than just an election result it is a clear and powerful statement of the high regard members hold for him personally and the absolute confidence they place in his leadership.

Running without opposition is a rare and meaningful honour that speaks directly to the respect Alhaji Bangura has earned over years of loyal service to the association. He has always stood firmly by the core values that hold OPWA together honesty, brotherhood, fairness and a genuine commitment to lifting up every member equally. Members have recognised that he brings steady wisdom, proven experience and a sincere desire to move the whole association forward without division or favour.

Upon receiving his confirmation Alhaji Dauda Musa Bangura said this victory does not belong to me alone it belongs to every single Old Prince Walean who has stood by this association and trusted me to serve. To be chosen without contest is the greatest responsibility I could ever carry and I accept it with deep humility and gratitude. I will serve every member with the same dedication I have always shown and I will work side by side with the President the full executive team and every brother and sister to protect our legacy and build a stronger future for us all.

He appreciated newly elected President SEF John and thanked all members for their overwhelming support and called for continued unity across the association. He said we are one family first and every achievement we make will be shared by all of us no matter where we are or what our background is.

The electoral committee confirmed that all procedures were followed fully in line with the association’s constitution and that no objections or concerns were raised by any member throughout the entire process. The incoming executive will now move forward with plans to improve member welfare strengthen ties between branches and deliver on key projects that benefit both members and the wider community.
