EDSA to Launch Token Identification Rollover in Makeni
Amidu Kallon The Northern Region Public Relations Officer of the Electricity Distribution Supply Authority (EDSA), Sulaiman Sengu Koroma, has disclosed that the regional launch of the Token Identification (T.ID) rollover will take place in Makeni on Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16.
Koroma further revealed that the launch will feature street sensitization in major public places, including the Makeni Lorry Park and the N.P. Lorry Park, among others, as well as a radio simulcast in the evening hours.
Koroma stated that the package is instrumental in reducing the workload of the institution, especially in combatting illegal connections and meter tampering by customers.
T.ID is a unique token identifier coded into the token that customers purchase from any vending point or outlet.
