Evelyn Watta Moijueh, an international businesswoman, politician, and philanthropist has donated mattresses worth thousands of leones to the Pewama health post in Jawie Chiefdom, Kailahun district where women have been constrained of mattresses for delivery.
During the donation, Evelyn informed that as a woman herself, she felt disgusted when she learned about the plights of pregnant women in the aforementioned community.
She noted that childbirth is painful and hellish, and therefore women should have some amount of comfort when they are in labor.

She commended the health workers at the health center for their unflinching support of the women.
