The family of a four-year-old girl has appealed for public assistance to enable her access medical treatment after she reportedly endured a severe jaw condition for more than a year, a situation that has also disrupted her education.

According to an appeal shared by a concerned neighbour, the child has been suffering from persistent jaw pain for the past year. The condition reportedly prevented her from continuing her education after she enrolled in Nursery One last academic year.

The neighbour explained that the girl’s mother, who works as a nanny, has made repeated efforts to secure treatment for her daughter but has been unable to meet the financial demands associated with her medical care.

The appeal states that the child’s prolonged illness has left the family struggling to find the resources needed for proper medical attention, raising concerns that she could miss another academic year if help is not received promptly.

Describing the girl’s situation as urgent, the neighbour called on compassionate individuals, organisations and well-wishers to support the family in accessing the medical care required to improve the child’s health and enable her to return to school.

Those willing to assist or obtain further information have been encouraged to contact the family through the telephone number provided in the appeal: +232 76 279746.
