High Court Judge, Justice Adrian Fisher, during his sentencing told popular rapper, Boss La that to attack four people in the modern day is carnage.
The Judge last Friday found the rapper guilty on all counts charges as a result of his convictions. The charges include robbery and assault contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
According to a local journalist, Mohamed Jaward Nyallay who was in court during the sentencing, Justice Fisher said to Boss La: “To attack one person in a modern day is an outrage, to attack four persons in a modern day society is carnage”
According to Nyallay, having reviewed the evidence, the Judge described the actions of Boss LA as lawlessness on his path
“You alone attacked four on that day in quick succession, in a manner that I can only describe as sheer thuggery,” Fisher stated
It was alleged that in August 2022, Boss LA broke out a fight at the Leonco Fueling station at Congo Cross where he beat up the pump attendant and got away with her sales.
Before his sentencing, LAJ accepted responsibility for the crimes he was convicted of and pleaded for mercy.
He acknowledged the negative impact of his actions on the victims and the Leonco Petrol Station and apologized for his behavior
Although he denied being a thief, he showed remorse and asked for forgiveness.
