Ambassador Raymond De’Souza George Selected Winner National Reconciliation Award

Former Presidential Adviser and Heritage and Cultural Affairs Ambassador Raymond De’Souza George commonly called Paparay has been selected as the winner of the National Reconciliation Award 2023 and honored by the Center for Memory and Reparations Sierra Leone.

The award honors Sierra Leoneans who have worked consistently for traditional justice, peace, and human rights for 10 years.

George was asked to give a lecture on ‘Choice of Word as a Maker or Breaker of Peace in Sierra Leone as the country commemorates 21 years since the end of the civil war known as the Lomè Peace Agreement.
