Head Teacher of Wellington Muslim School Arrested For Allegedly Helping Thieves
Binta Koroma The Head Teacher of Wellington Muslim Association School at Wellington, Foday Kanu, has been arrested and detained by Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Court No.3 Ross Road, Freetown.
The Head Teacher was brought on Bench Warrant issued sometime in November 2021. It was alleged that this Head Teacher provided his school compound (aided) as passage to Idrissa Koroma and 9 others to steal 1,930 Jerry Cans of Paddi Vegetable Cooking Oil valued Le 515,940,515,06 , property of Pee Cee & Sons, at their Oil Factory Jollaks, in Wellington, Freetown.
Since the commencement of this matter, the said Head Teacher had evaded all the attempts to arrest him.
However, he was surprisingly arrested yesterday evening. The matter has been adjourned to the 10th June 2022.
