The Second Chance Foundation owned by Sierra Leone’s prominent entertainment journalist, Prezo Koroma, has secured the release of five inmates, Mohamed Fornah and Alpha Bangura and Kadiatu Mansaray, Isatu Fullah, and Kadiatu Conteh from the Male and Female Correctional Centers respectively.
This occurred on Thursday the 11th May, 2023 in Freetown.
According to the Foundation, this was facilitated through the help of kindhearted Sierra Leoneans, including Africell’s John Konteh, Dauda Bah, Salone Fos Wear, Bolo Spencer, Dj Ejay, and Mariatu Kpade, who donated to pay their court fines.
The Foundation registered their frofound gratitude to all those who’ve been supporting them and disclosed how they are planning to help the former imates get back on their feet.
The Foundation also disclosed that they are currently working on other cases across various correctional facilities in Sierra Leone.
They informed that they are still soliciting donations from the general public and call on all to help them achieve their next goal.
