The Lawyers’ Society has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of its esteemed colleague, Timothy Sowa, Esq., who died on Thursday, 23rd April 2026.

In a condolence message issued on 24th April 2026, the Society described the late Sowa as a dedicated legal professional who served with distinction in several key roles.

He was a Prosecutor at the Anti-Corruption Commission, State Counsel at the Law Officers’ Department, and a respected senior member of the legal profession.

The Society noted that his death is a significant loss not only to his colleagues but also to the wider legal community and all who knew him.

“The loss of Timothy Sowa is deeply felt by colleagues and friends across the legal profession and beyond,” the statement read.

The Lawyers’ Society extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, while also expressing solidarity with members of the legal fraternity during this period of mourning.
