Sierra Leonean Man Dies in Ghastly Accident While Attending Wife’s Funeral
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara Sierra Leone BBC reporter Umaru Fofana has shared a devastating story of a man who tragically lost his life while attending the funeral of his late wife.
In a social media post, Fofana expressed his shock and sorrow, writing, “I’ve been so shocked that I can only post this now: Spare a thought for a man who lost his wife on Thursday in Makeni.”
According to Fofana, the man was traveling from Bo with his second wife and children for the funeral on Friday when a horrific road accident occurred.
The accident happened unexpectedly, just after passing a security roadblock and in broad daylight. Sadly, the man, his second wife, and his two children perished in the accident.
Fofana urged his followers to take a moment to express gratitude for their own circumstances, regardless of how challenging they may seem. He also offered prayers for the souls of the deceased, including his uncle, Alhaji Bankor Sheriff, and his family.
