Police in Bo has nabbed a man identified as Aruna Momoh for alleged Human Trafficking.

According to A-Z Newspaper, Aruna Momoh is currently at the Bo West Police Division for attempting to sell his colleague Diamond miner for a fee around five hundred million Old Leones.

According to the information officer in Bo West Police Divis Constable 19138 Alhaji Usman Mansaray received a tip off that a man Aruna Momoh was trying to trade his colleague for the said amount.

He added that the matter was first reported at the Bo East Police division but later transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department.

He pointed out that Prior to their movement to Bo the alleged traffickers was communicating with one Chief Ishmael Koroma in order for him to buy his colleague.

Reports further revealed that Chief Ishmael Koroma who has been accused of cannibalism as a way of laundering his image waste no time to inform the police about the plans of Aruna Momoh to sell his colleague by inviting the Police to his resident.

The  Police further went to chief Koroma’s Place in disguise with Plain Cloth with the Pretext of buying Usman Sesay. The Chief trafficcker deposit a payment of NL1,000 and promised to pay the balance when they would gone to his boss in town.

It was on their way to town in the vehicle of Chief Koroma’s Vehicle when they drove to the Police Station and arrested the trafficker

The victim Usman Sesay is  about his normal business activities at the same time helping the police in their investigation. The alleged trafficker has denied the said allegation of selling his colleague for at least five hundred million old leones.

Reports further revealed that the Police  went to chief Koroma’s Place in disguise with Plain Cloth with the Pretext of buying Usman Sesay. The Chief gave the trafficker deposit a payment of NL1,000 and promised to pay the balance when they would have gone to his boss in town.
