The Commissioner of Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Francis Ben Kaifala has reacted to the divorce saga of Morocco and Paris St-Germain footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

Social media was flooded with reports of the millionaire footballer divorcing his wife, Hiba Abouk on Friday.

It was said that the wife who filed the divorce suit, demanded half of the PSG star’s belongings but was told that Hakimi has nothing as all his properties were acquired in his mother’s name.

Reacting, several social media users, particularly men, hailed the Moroccan, saying it was the best move to take. But Francis Ben Kaifala took to his Facebook handle to counter their assertion, saying a Man who really loves his Mother can’t do what Hakimi did. (chris180.org)

He wrote, “When a man really loves his mother he can’t do what Hakimi did to the mother of his children. I understand but can’t celebrate him”

His reactions comes hours after another Sierra Leonean, Abdulai Kemoh Conteh said the actions of the football star “is not something commendable” adding that trust and confidence was lacking in the marriage.

In his words, “Why would someone marry a person whom they cannot trust with their possessions, both now and even after their death, and instead entrust it to their immediate family? This is exactly what happened in Hakimi’s case…”
