Sierra Leone has received the first modern traffic lights operation that have been down for decades in the nation’s capital Freetown.
The traffic light which is solar powered was spotted at the Hillside Bypass Road Junction in Freetown with a man serving as an instructor to its operation. Being pretty new system for quite a while now, many believe that the presence of the instructors teaching drivers and riders is ironical, to which some have it that it’s a great start to let people understand the actual usage of the traffic light as a start.
According to some motorcycle riders, with the passage of time gradually, the work of the traffic police in the country will be complemented by the presence of these traffic lights when its operations is fully understood.
