NDMA Responds to Suspected Earth Tremor in Makeni City
Aaron Parker Residents of Makeni City, particularly in the Fullah Town community, reported a suspected tremor accompanied by a loud sound. The National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) has promptly deployed staff to the area to address the situation.
Initial reports indicate that the suspected tremor and sound were heard not only in Fullah Town but also in surrounding areas such as Cemetery Road and the Central Business Area. Despite the widespread reports, there are no visible signs of structural damage, such as cracks in the ground or buildings, or the movement of boulders, in the affected communities.
