The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) on Monday 27th February 2023 arrested a man, identified as Abdul Bangura alias “White Man” for carrying an FM 5479 Pistol.

Bangura was arrested at Fallah Checkpoint en route from Freetown, in the afternoon hours of Monday 27th February 2023, in possession of an FM 5479 pistol (gun) without a magazine and a small number of dry leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa.

The suspect is currently being investigated at the CID Regional Headquarters in Bo.
