A group of Police officers from the Harbour Police Division on Thursday 6th April 023 arrested Edward Shaw at No.2 Horse Road Ferry Junction with dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa.
The group was assigned on a beat patrol by the LUC of Harbour Police Division CSP Emmanuel S. Kpulun to patrol on foot within the Peace Market, Ferry Junction, Black Hall Road, Moyeba, Kissy Brook, and Kamanda Farm in the East end of Freetown.
Acting upon intelligence received, the group headed by ASP Mohamed Koroma conducted a search warrant at the premise of Edward Shaw at Ferry Junction and discovered several dried leaves tied in three plastic bags suspected to be cannabis sativa and the sum of six hundred and sixty-three leones (NLe663.00) said to be proceeds of the suspected cannabis sativa.

The suspect Edward Shaw is in police custody helping with the investigation, while the money and suspected cannabis sativa are been treated as an exhibit.
