Police in Port Loko District have arrested a woman accused of fatally stabbing her father in Matheineh Village, marking a shocking case of alleged domestic violence in Masimera Chiefdom.
Isata Conteh allegedly attacked her father, Issa Conteh, with a knife, wounding him in the leg before he succumbed to his injuries at a nearby health centre.
Police recovered a knife believed to have been used in the attack and transported the victim’s body to Connaught Hospital Mortuary in Freetown for a post-mortem examination.
The motive for the attack remains unclear, and a full investigation is ongoing.
