Nine to Serve Seven Months For Disorderly Conduct
Magistrate Hadiru Daboh has on Tuesday September 28, 2021 sentenced nine accused persons including one Mustapha Gibrilla and eight others, expecting one Joseph Kowa the 10th accused to serve seven months in prison after they admitted behaving in a disorderly manner at Milla Group of Companies.
The accused persons made this admission before Magistrate H. Daboh of Ross Road Court No. 3.
In count one, the accused persons had been charged with riotous conduct contrary to section 12 of the Public Order Act of No. 46 of 1965 as amended by section 12(a) of Act No. 15 of 1973. It is alleged that on Monday September 20, 2021 at Jaimata, Bai Bureh Road in Freetown behaved in a riotous manner.

In count two, the accused had been charged for disorderly behaviour. It is alleged that one the said date and place, they were found behaving in a disorderly manner.
The accused were pronounced guilty on the first and third count while the second was adjusted by the Magistrate to be bad in law.
