Housemate Salone Season 4 winner, Suad Baydoun, through Baydoun Company Limited, has announced the launch of the Suad Baydoun National Debate and Essay Writing Competitions aimed at promoting academic excellence, leadership, and creativity among young people in Sierra Leone.
The announcement was made in an official update released by Baydoun Company Limited, inviting students and universities across the country to participate in the national competitions.
According to the release, the debate competition will feature a two-day intensive debating experience bringing together eight universities from across Sierra Leone.
The organizers described the initiative as a platform designed to allow young intellectuals to debate national issues, defend their ideas, and demonstrate leadership abilities on a national stage.
The statement further noted that the essay writing competition is exclusively open to secondary school students. Essays submitted for the competition will be judged based on originality, clarity, coherence, relevance, and length.
Organizers disclosed that winners of the competitions will receive awards valued at over NLe 200,000. The initiative, they said, is intended to encourage academic engagement and empower young people through constructive intellectual activities.
Baydoun Company Limited also confirmed that details regarding the date, venue, and time for the competitions will be announced in the coming days.
Suad Baydoun, who rose to national prominence after emerging winner of Housemate Salone Season 4, continues to expand her influence beyond entertainment through youth-focused initiatives and educational empowerment programs.
