In his bid to continue keeping the Free Quality Education alive, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray’s Foundation held the third episode of its debate and quiz competitions in Kono.

The Academic challenge took place on the 8th of March 2023 at the Fachima hall in Koidu new Sembehun city in Kono.

The debating theme was “Strengthening Civic and Non-Violence Engagement Through Quality Education for National Cohesion and Democratic Governance”. Over twenty secondary schools competed for a star prize of Ten Million old Leones.

Cluny Secondary school was adjudged winner amongst them all in both quiz and debate. Participants were presented with prizes by the President of the Foundation who triples as Chief Executive of the National Public Procurement Authority and Chief Promoter of President Bio’s Free Quality Education, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray.

While presenting the awards, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray, emphasized the importance of education, noting that it is the best tool to give a child and that is why the SLPP Government led by President Bio remains focused and willing to the course.

He urged the pupils to take their academic work seriously, pointing out that what happened at the Fachima hall shows that there is a greater prospect for Sierra Leoneans amidst the Free Quality Education.

Representatives of the various schools thanked him for the opportunity, noting that he is a blessing and inspiration to them.
