Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT), a UK-based international relief and development charity has on Saturday 3rd February 2024 distributed 34 Motorbikes to Imams in Sierra Leone.
The donation is geared towards easing the transportation difficulties Imams are experiencing while performing their various duties.
Ummah Welfare Trust has built masajids [Mosques] across the country and provided free Islamic education to thousands of children and clean water to remote communities desperately in need.
The Charity organization has made significant progress with many of their Projects in Sierra Leone with an overwhelming impact on communities who yearned for a proper place of worship, Islamic education and clean water.
Ummah Welfare Trust has constructed over 300 wells and 100 masjids in Sierra Leone The people in these communities are delighted and appreciative of the Organization’s generosity
