The Sexual Model Division of the High Court in Freetown will on 14th February 2023 decide the fate of Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray.

The former Alliance Democratic Party’s presidential flagbearer in the 2018 elections is standing for sexual penetration of a 15-year-old pupil.

Kamarainba has since been on remand at the Pademba Road Prison when he appeared in court.

The politician is standing trial alongside one Marion Aruni, an aunt of the alleged victim.

The judge, Justice Samuel Omodele Taylor granted bail to both Kamarainba and Aruni bail but the former failed to meet the bail conditions set.

Part of the bail condition set at the time was for Kamarainba to tender his travelling documents but failed to present his foreign passport which is rumoured to have been burnt at his Makeni residence.

This new date given by the court dispels the one making the rounds in the media.

The other accused person, Aruni has long been released on bail after fulfilling the said bail conditions.
