Widow of Six Children in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone, Appeals for Support
Salamatu Y. Kamara Sandra sidiki, a widow of six children residing in Makeni Northern Sierra Leone is requesting for help to sustain her children.
According to Sandra, she lost her husband six years ago and ever since then life has not been favourable to her and her children.
She disclosed that her only means of survival is through begging and sometime she will went out and return with nothing for her children to eat.
She said its been eight days since her children ate rice as they only depend on gari to survive.
She further stated that she is an orphan and a widow with no siblings and the pain, struggles she is encountering with her children is unbearable.
Her son who she said recently fall has an injured foot but is not able to get the proper medical service needed because she can’t afford the money.
She call on the public to come to her aid to help save her children from the suffering they are undergoing.
