Fantacee Wiz – Hey Frank
“Hey Frank” is a spoken-word tribute by multi-award-winning Sierra Leonean traditional singer, filmmaker, poet, and feminist Fantacee Wiz.
“Hey Frank” is a moving spoken-word piece by the award-winning artist as a tribute to honour the memory of Frank Mallay Sr. It was written during 40 days of mourning to turn grief into poetry and find a “new normal.”
Before the release, Fantacee Wiz expressed on social media, “Words cannot express how deeply I miss you, Frank… Frank is dead; my love, grief and memories of him are not…”
This heartfelt work captures the journey through loss and celebrates a love that remains deeply present even in absence. The spoken word is emotional and attractive, showing the value of someone’s presence in your life.
