Members of Indigenous Transport Owners Association (ITOA) have called on the Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate Mr.Musa Kargbo the current Chairman of the Association.

Mr Kargbo is alleged to have embezzled the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Million Leones, Funds meant for the association at the same time parading the streets of Freetown bragging about his relationship with the current Government.

The over two hundred aggrieved members during a press briefing organized through the aid of Citizens Right Network accused Mr Kargbo of disrespect, misappropriation and embezzling funds meant for the Association.

The Executive Director of Citizen Rights Network, Sierra Leone a Civil Society and Human Right Organization, Bai Koroma noted that the aggrieved members have asked the Chairman to step aside while Investigation into the allegations continue but to no avail.

He said the chairman is using connection and at the same time threatening members of the association.

Mr Kargbo has been asked to give a clear explanation on the use of the organization fund and also to account b for his stewardship but has failed to do so.

The Executive Director of Citizens Network has stated during the briefing that he is aware of an ongoing Investigation against Chairman Kargbo by the ACC and the there is every need to fast track such an investigation by the anti-graft Agency
