The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone has provided a further update on the actions taken so far on issues raised in the Auditor General’s Report of 2021 in the Second (2nd) Serialized Media Release.

These interventions are focused on aspects of possible or alleged corruption and conduct inconsistent with the provision(s) in the Anti-Corruption Act of 2008 as amended in 2019.

They noted that, after a thorough review, and analysis of the said Report, the Commission initiated actions; with a view of investigating, prosecuting, or recovering public funds, public revenue, and public property in accordance with Sections 7, and 48 of the Anti-Corruption Act of 2008 as amended in 2019, respectively.
