High Court Judge, Hon.Justice Adrian Fisher yesterday (Tuesday)16th August 2022, gave 72 hrs ultimatum to the Anti Corruption (ACC) lead Prosecutor, CT Mantsebo to Produce other witnesses to expedite the investigation into alleged misappropriation of public funds meant for the refurbishment of the Sierra Leone Permanent Mission Chancery building in New York.

The matter allegedly involved Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara and five others.

Hon. Justice Fisher gave the ultimatum during Tuesday’s Court hearing after the ACC prosecution witness  marked as PW13, Idrissa Tejan Kargbo concluded his testimony following his cross examination by Pa Momoh Fofanah and Frank Bai Kargbo.

The Hon Judge said he has given the ACC Prosecution team long period of time for them to brought in their witnesses that are supposed to Testify in court in relation to the New York Chancery Building Matter. He urged the ACC Prosecutor to speed up with their witnesses to testify in court as there is not much time left.

He told the ACC prosecution that he has shifted most of his matters and canceled his trips just for him to conclude the matter on time , urging the ACC not to waste his time in court.

Earlier, PW13, Idrissa Tejan Kargbo told the court that he assume offices as Head of Chancery on 15th November 2017 with Credential.

He said that since he office  assume as HOC he had carry out many representative duties and awareof the Chancery building and also took parts in several commite meetings.

Kargbo furthered revealed that on his arrival at the mission to take up duty, he learnt a lot at the building include, a neighbour who complained about spilled of water that dropped in from the building .

For failure to bring in another witness Hon.Justice adjourned the matter to Friday 19th August 2022
