Members of the African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security has visited Sierra Leone for a discussion on intervention measures undertaken by Sierra Leone with the support of UNICEF.
The delegation was received by UNICEF country representative in Sierra Leone Rudolf Schwenk.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the protection of children in conflict and post-conflict situations.
Lessons learned from the field consultations are expected to improve the protection of children in conflict situations in the Member States by enhancing a shared understanding of collective responsibilities.
