Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr Congratulates Chernor Bah
The outgoing Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has congratulated Honorable Chernor Maju Bah commonly called “Chericoco” after he was appointed as running mate by Samura Kamara, the flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC) for the June 2023 elections.
Aki-Sawyerr on social media, congratulated Bah, stating that she is excited and they are ready to win the upcoming election.
“Today the APC Flagbearer Dr Samura Kamara @samurakamara201 has announced Hon Chernor Maju Bah @HonChernor as running mate for the #24June2023 elections. Congratulations Hon Chernor! Excited and ready for us to win the elections!!” She posted.
Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr was one of several names tipped for the running mate position of the APC. She however later declared her intention to re-run for the mayor of Freetown position.
