APC Readmits Former Vice President, Sam-Sumana Into Party
Former Vice President of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Samuel Sam-Sumana has been re-admitted as a member of Sierra Leone’s main opposition party, the All People’s Congress (APC).
He was re-admitted at the party’s National Delegates Conference ongoing in Makeni today February 19, 2023.
Recall that Sam-Sumana was expelled by National Advisory Council of APC on March 6, 2015, following his controversial sacking as Vice President.
All People’s Congress had accused the Former Vice President of fuelling violence and trying to form a breakaway party in his home district of Kono. He denied the allegations.
Meanwhile, Sam-Sumana was earlier disqualified from the APC flagbearer race over his membership in the party.
