At a public Lecture organise for university students, the Commissioner for the Anti-Corruption Commission, Francis Ben Kaifala engaged students on the topic: Sensitization of the Dominion Effect: Retracing the Athens of West Africa to Unleash Sierra Leone’s Developmental Aspirations.

Commissioner Ben Kaifala in his speech, explained to them what Yae Dominion Yae means, what they does and how it has prevented young graduates from getting good jobs.

“Do you know the dangers of ‘Yae Dominion Yae’? It is people who are not in the eastern technical universities going to get fake degrees. They are not at Fourah Bay College, They are not at IPAM, They are not at Ernest Bai Koroma University, they are not at UNIMAK, So while you people are studying to get your degrees so that you can come out and get jobs, they buy fake degrees and occupy those jobs. So when you come out, you don’t get jobs. That is the danger” he said.

He insisted that they all try to recognize the dangers of the Dominion University and stated that they all have to play role by serving as community informant.
