President Bio Appoints Osman Ibrahim Kanu, Esq., as Director of Public Prosecution
Ibrahim Hashim Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio has appointed Osman Ibrahim Kanu, Esq., as the new Director of Public Prosecution.
This was revealed in a public notice issued today, 31 July 2023, sign by Julius F. Sandy, Secretary to the President.
The appointment comes as a significant development in the country’s legal system, aiming to strengthen the administration of justice and uphold the rule of law.
As the new Director of Public Prosecution, Mr. Kanu will play a pivotal role in prosecuting criminal cases, upholding the rights of citizens, and safeguarding the nation’s legal interests.
